ذكرت مصادر أمنية أن ضابط الشرطة قتل في وقت مبكر الخميس بعد أن أطلق عليه المسلحون النار بينما كان أمام منزله لدى عودته من عمله، مشيرة إلى أنه أصيب في الرقبة والصدر والبطن.
ونقلت رويترز عن مصدر أمني أن النقيب سبق أن تعرض لهجوم من قبل مهاجمين مجهولين.
وأوضح أن المهاجمين أشعلوا في المرة السابقة النار في سيارة الضابط أمام منزله في فبراير الماضي باستخدام زجاجات حارقة.
من ناحية ثانية، أصيب 3 عمال نتيجة انفجار قنبلة في محطة للوقود في مدينة ديروط بمحافطة أسيوط جنوبي مصر.
وقال مصدر أمني إن المحطة احترقت بالكامل نتيجة الانفجار، مؤكداً أن الهجوم يحمل بصمات الجماعات المتشددة.
